Job summary

Endeavour Foundation is hiring a Disability Support Worker in Toowoomba to provide person-centred support in our Supported Independent Living homes. You will help people build life skills, access the community and work towards personal goals with dignity and safety.

We’re seeking a calm, compassionate professional who can work a permanent roster that includes sleepovers and varied shifts across days, evenings, weekends and overnights.

Qualifications

• Certificate III in Individual Support (Disability) is advantageous.
• Permanent roster including multiple sleepovers and varied shifts across days, evenings, weekends and overnights.
• Good computer skills with Word, Excel and Outlook; log incidents in Care Plans & RiskMan.

Responsibilities

• Help people achieve NDIS goals by developing daily living skills.
• Assist with personal care where required to meet individual needs.
• Meal planning, cooking, light cleaning and community outings.
• Provide support during daily activities and appointments.
• Maintain connections with family, friends, and services.
