Job summary

Endeavour Foundation in Warwick is seeking a compassionate Disability Support Worker to provide person-centred support in Supported Independent Living homes. You’ll help clients build independence, confidence and connection, while joining a supportive team dedicated to high-quality care.

The role requires availability for sleepover shifts and permanent part-time hours up to 55 per fortnight at the SIL home in Warwick, QLD. Penalty rates apply for non-day shifts.

Qualifications

• Caring, patient and respectful approach.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
• Reliable with a positive, can-do attitude.
• Availability for varied shifts, including sleepovers with penalty rates.
• Capacity to meet physical requirements for manual handling.
• Certificate III in Individual Support (Disability) is advantageous but not required.

Responsibilities

• Support people with daily living activities and personal care.
• Assist clients with manual handling using hoists and slings.
