Job summary

Resilience Support Pty Ltd in Yarrawonga is seeking an appropriately skilled Support Worker to assist a female client living with an Acquired Brain Injury. You will provide personal care and help the client access her local community using her vehicle, supporting participation in activities that are meaningful to her.

In this role you will follow a care plan, maintain professionalism, and participate in ongoing training and development.

Qualifications

• Certificate III in Individual Support or equivalent.
• Current Australian Drivers Licence.
• First Aid including CPR qualification.
• Current Police Check (No older than 3 months).
• Working With Children Check (employee).
• Willingness to undertake personal care tasks as required.
• Willingness to undertake required training and core competencies.
• Caring and compassionate approach with effective communication.
• Flexible in work hours to meet customers' needs.
• Ongoing support and professional development provided.

Responsibilities

• Assist all aspects of personal care including showering, toileting and grooming.
• Assist with Mealtime Management.
• Transport the client in her vehicle to access her community.
• Attend appointments and complete shopping tasks.
• Follow Care Plan, direction and strategies.
• Be reliable and dependable.
