Job summary
Resilience Support is recruiting an appropriately skilled Individual Support Worker to assist a female client living with an Acquired Brain Injury in Yarrawonga. The role involves personal care, transfers and accompanying the client to appointments and community activities, with full training provided.
The candidate will have Certificate III in Individual Support or equivalent, a current Australian Drivers Licence, First Aid with CPR, NDIS screening, police clearance and Working with Children
Qualifications
- Certificate III in Individual Support, Aged Care or equivalent, or willing to undertake.
- Current Australian Drivers Licence.
- Current First Aid including CPR qualification.
- NDIS workers Screening Clearance.
- Current Police Check (No older than 3 months).
- Working with Children Check (employee).
Responsibilities
- Assist personal care including showering, toileting & grooming
- Assist with transfers
- Assist with Mealtime Management
- Transport the client in clients own vehicle to access her community
- Attend appointments and complete shopping tasks
- Follow Care Plan, direction and strategies
