Job summary

AbilitySeer is seeking experienced disability support workers to assist NDIS participants across Canberra, Queanbeyan, Goulburn, Yass and surrounds. Shifts include domestic assistance, personal care, social participation, transport, meal preparation and in-home support.

Ideal candidates have WWVP, First Aid and CPR, NDIS modules, a valid driver's license, and infection control certification. Training opportunities, flexible hours and rewards programs are available; competitive SCHADS pay

Qualifications

• WWVP card required.
• First Aid Certificate and CPR required.
• NDIS Modules (Worker Orientation and Supporting Safe and Enjoyable Meals).
• Infection Control Certificate preferred.
• Qualifications in Disability, Community Services, or Mental Health advantageous, or lived experience.

Responsibilities

AbilitySeer are seeking experienced, reliable, and compassionate support workers to work with NDIS participants in the Canberra, Queanbeyan, Goulburn, Yass, and surrounding areas. Shifts include domestic assistance, personal care and social and community participation, transport, meal preparation, and support in-home.

About you

WWVP card

First Aid Certificate and current CPR

NDIS Modules - Worker Orientation Modules and Supporting Safe and Enjoyable Meals

Reliable comprehensively insured transport and driver's licence

Infection Control Certificate

Experienced with supporting individuals of diverse backgrounds

Qualifications in Disability, Community Services, or Mental Health are advantageous, or lived experience of disability

Experience and expertise in supporting indigenous clients in culturally appropriate ways is valued
