Royal Rehabilitation Centre Sydney seeks a Disability Support Worker in the Penrith region. You will support people with a disability to live independently, helping them to achieve personal goals and engage in their community.

The role involves travel to Katoomba with roughly 10 hours of shifts per week, and is described as casual/temporary with no prior experience required. A values-driven team environment awaits.

About the role…

An exciting role exists for a passionate and empowering Disability Support Worker to join our growing Penrith team. You will provide support for people with a disability to live independently and maintain their best possible social wellbeing. You will support our customers to achieve their personal goals and to live satisfying lives in our community. Being a customer‑centric role, you will work with a wide range of customers.

Please note: This role requires a willingness to travel to Katoomba, with approximately 10 hours of shifts available each week in the Katoomba area.

About you…

As a people person, you pride yourself on exceptional customer service whilst ensuring customers achieve their goals and aspirations. You may be eligible to undertake this role as a Traineeship and get paid while you earn a nationally recognised qualification.

Essential Criteria:

• Criminal record check (essential or willing to obtain)
• Working with children’s check (essential or willing to obtain)
• NDIS Workers screening clearance (essential or willing to obtain)
• Willingness and availability to travel to and work in Katoomba.
