Job summary

Medox in Frankston, VIC is seeking a Disability Support Worker to provide full personal care and daily living support within a 24/7 care team, delivering clinical tasks and medication administration in a home setting.

The role requires a Certificate III in Health Care (or higher), 2+ years in disability/complex care, current manual handling and medication administration certifications, First Aid/CPR, and checks (NDIS WWC). Right to work in Australia and a valid driver’s license are essential.

Qualifications

• Certificate III in Health Care (or higher) in Disability, Aging or individual support.
• Minimum 2 years' experience in disability or complex care.
• Current Manual Handling and Medication Administration Certification.
• Current First Aid and CPR.
• NDIS Worker Screening Check and Working With Children Check.
• Right to work in Australia.
• Current Drivers Licence.

Responsibilities

• Provide full personal care and daily living support within a 24/7 care team.
• Deliver clinical support including Bowel Care, Catheter Care & PEG Feeding.
• Assist with safe Manual Handling, repositioning and transfers.
• Complete Medication Administration and basic household support.
• Diabetes Management.

Work Type: Casual / Ongoing Shifts / Regular Shift Patterns

Pay Rate: $40-45/hour
