Job summary

Drake is seeking a Disability Support Worker to provide complex care for a female client living at home in Melbourne. The role offers casual/ongoing shifts with 7–10am and 4–7pm slots, 39–49 AUD per hour, and a structured onboarding program with paid training.

You will perform personal and catheter care, medication administration, manual handling, bowel and skin care, domestic assistance, and community support while following a behaviour support plan.

Qualifications

• Minimum Certificate 3 in healthcare.
• Current accredited First aid and CPR.
• NDIS Screening Clearance.
• Manual handling certificate (or willing to obtain).
• Medication certificate (or willing to obtain).
• Right to live and work within Australia.
• Valid Australian Driver's License.
• Valid Working with Children Check.

Responsibilities

About the Role

Role Title (Complex Care)

Location: St Albans, VIC

Work Type: Casual / Ongoing Shifts/ Regular Shift Patterns

Pay Rate: $39 - $49/hour

Make a real difference in our client's life while keeping the flexibility to live your own. This role offers monthly rosters based on your availability, along with a structured onboarding program, buddy shifts and paid training so you feel supported from day one - plus hands‑on clinical experience support our female client, who is living at home with a Spinal Cord Injury, with a mix of 2:1 and 1:1 care.

Must have availability for:

• 7-10am shifts
• 4-7pm shifts
