Job summary

Drake is hiring a Disability Support Worker to provide care in home settings, including personal care, medication prompting, meals, and community access. You will enable independence and participate in rehabilitation programs, supporting clients with complex needs.

Qualifications include Certificate III in Individual Support, 2+ years in disability or complex care, and a valid driver's licence. Training and ongoing development are offered, with a supportive team and recognition programs.

Qualifications

• Current Driver's Licence is essential.
• Current First Aid & CPR certification.
• NDIS Worker Screening Check or willingness to obtain.
• Working With Vulnerable People Check preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prompting and supervising personal care routines.
• Medication prompting and monitoring.
• Support meal preparation and domestic tasks.
• Provide community access and recreational activities.
• Support rehabilitation and exercise programs.
• Encourage independence and daily living skills.
• Assist with study, learning and goal-based activities.
• Transport participants to appointments and activities as required.

What You'll Bring

• Reliable vehicle and willingness to transport participants

• Strong communication and rapport-building skills
• Ability to maintain professional boundaries and provide person‑centered support
