Job summary

Medox is seeking a Disability Support Worker to provide 1:1 care for a male client with an Acquired Brain Injury in a home setting. The role offers flexible casual shifts from 8am–3pm or 3pm–11pm, with paid training, onboarding, and buddy shifts to support you from day one.

You will perform personal care, medication administration, meal preparation, and domestic tasks while following a behaviour support plan and providing community-based support.

Qualifications

• Previous Acquired Brain Injury experience
• Manual handling experience (essential)
• Minimum Certificate 3 in Healthcare
• Current accredited First aid and CPR
• NDIS Screening Clearance
• Manual handling certificate (or willing to obtain)
• Medication certificate (or willing to obtain)
• Right to live and work within Australia
• Valid Australian Driver's License
• Valid Working with Children Check

Responsibilities

Role Title Disability Support Worker (Complex Care)

Location: Point Cook, VIC

Work Type: Casual / Ongoing Shifts/ Regular Shift Patterns

Pay Rate: $39-49/hour

This role offers monthly rosters based on your availability, along with a structured onboarding program, buddy shifts and paid training so you feel supported from day one - plus hands‑on clinical experience supporting our male client, who is living at home with an Acquired Brain Injury in a home setting for 1:1 care.

Must have availability for:

• 8am - 3pm shifts
• 3pm - 11pm shifts
