Life Without Barriers is seeking a Casual Disability Support Worker to provide one-on-one home care in the Penrith area. The role requires availability for early mornings and late afternoons, with shifts split and travel between clients.
You will be reimbursed for kilometres travelled and shifts are paid at a minimum of two hours. The position involves high intensity daily personal activities, hoist transfers and daily living support, with emphasis on person-centred care and safety.

Joining ourLifestyles (home care support) team, you willprovide one-on-one support to individuals with disabilities in their own homes, with travel between clients and working short, split shifts required.
To provide best support you will have experience in providing high intensity daily personal activities (including complex bowel and catheter care) and manual handling (including hoist transfers).
To be considered for a role you must have availability for early morning and late afternoon shifts and be willing to commit to a variety of individual client sessions within the Penrith area. Note, shifts will be paid at a minimum of 2 hours and you will be reimbursed 0.99 cents per kilometre travelled between client sessions.
Successful candidates will be required to clear probity checks including a National Criminal History Record Check and obtain an NDIS Clearance.
