Job summary

Grayspace Care Professionals in Brisbane is seeking Disability Support Workers to deliver person-centred daily living support across Brisbane, Logan & Gold Coast. Immediate shifts are available and rosters span North Brisbane, South Brisbane, Logan, and the Gold Coast.

You will support participants with daily living, personal care, community participation, and safe transport. Must have NDIS Worker Screening, First Aid/CPR, driver’s license with insured vehicle, and experience supporting

Qualifications

• NDIS Worker Screening Check is mandatory.
• Current First Aid and CPR certification is required.
• Valid Australian driver’s license with a reliable, insured vehicle.
• Experience supporting individuals with disabilities, including ASD/psychosocial disabilities preferred.
• Strong communication, empathy and reliability.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality, person-centered daily living support and personal care.
• Assist with active overnight care as required by participant rosters.
• Facilitate community participation, skill-building, and social outings.
• Transport participants safely to local appointments and activities.
• Maintain accurate daily progress notes and incident reporting when required.

Join our supportive team! Immediate shifts are available across North Brisbane, South Brisbane, Logan, and the Gold Coast.

About the Role We are seeking dedicated, compassionate, and reliable Disability Support Workers to provide tailored, person-centered support to participants in our communities. We offer a variety of roster opportunities across Nudgee Beach, Mount Gravatt, Bannockburn, and Mermaid Beach.

To best support our participants' evolving needs, applicants must be flexible to work across any shift types, including day shifts, split shifts, and active night shifts.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide high-quality, person-centered daily living support and personal care.
• Assist with active overnight care as required by participant rosters.
• Facilitate community participation, skill-building, and social outings.
• Transport participants safely to local appointments and community activities.
• Maintain accurate daily progress notes and complete incident reporting when required.

What We Are Looking For:

• NDIS Worker Screening Check (Clearance).
• Current First Aid and CPR Certification.
• Valid Australian Driver’s License with a reliable, insured vehicle.
• Previous experience supporting individuals with disabilities, with experience supporting individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and other psychosocial disabilities preferred.
• Strong communication skills, empathy, and absolute reliability.
• Flexibility to work varied shifts (day, split, and active night shifts).
