Job summary

Life Ur Way in Queensland is seeking a Support Services Team Leader to guide the Disability Support Worker team and ensure high quality service delivery to NDIS Participants. The role requires availability for emergencies outside standard hours and reports to the Operations Manager.

You will provide coaching, manage performance, promote a positive work environment, oversee recruitment and training, ensure compliance with regulations, and liaise with external agencies.

Qualifications

• Experience leading/supervising teams in the community services sector.
• Ability to coach and supervise staff through performance reviews.
• Strong coordination and leadership to deliver client-centred supports.
• Experience supporting clients with complex needs.

Responsibilities

• Provide support, coaching and leadership to the Disability Support Worker team through supervision.
• Manage conflicts and address performance issues within the team.
• Promote a positive, respectful work environment.
• Identify and implement training for Disability Support Workers.
• Work with Operations Manager to recruit, induct and train new staff.
• Ensure compliance with legislative and Life Ur Way policies.
• Liaise with external agencies as required.
• Oversee Life Ur Way’s group activity programs.
• Assist in complaints management as required.
