Job summary

Achieve Australia is seeking a Service Coordinator to lead disability day program operations and support client goals. Reporting to the Service Manager, the role focuses on active support, supervision of staff, and delivering person-centered services across multiple sites within the Ipswich region.

This 12-month contract role requires coordinating day-to-day operates, managing budgets, and driving service development with the team while ensuring compliance with NDIS requirements and safety

Qualifications

• Minimum Cert IV in Disability or Independent Support, or equivalent experience in disability support.
• Experience managing and supervising staff and client outcomes in disability settings.
• Understanding of the NDIS, active support principles and human rights-based service delivery.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• MS Office and online systems literacy.
• Practical experience in achieving community inclusion.
• Ability to transport clients in Achieve Australia vehicles with current license.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate day-to-day operations of the day program, including household accounts and staffing costs.
• Serve as initial escalation point for site team members.
• Ensure all mandatory reports are provided on time.
• Drive day program development with the team.
• Assist with financial operations of the site.
• Improve service performance through best practice and culture.
• Maintain properties to appropriate standards.
