genU is seeking an Employment Pathways Mentor to support people with disability in Geelong and Werribee. You will assess employment goals, develop tailored pathways, and deliver capacity-building activities that prepare participants for meaningful work opportunities.

You’ll provide mentoring and on-the-job coaching from career planning to securing ongoing employment, helping participants build confidence and independence in the workplace.

Competenze

• Minimum Certificate IV in disability, community services, employment services or a related field.
• Experience in disability or a similar field.
• Experience in the employment sector.
• Current first aid + CPR certificate.
• Ability to transport participants; valid driver’s license; car & fully comprehensive insurance.
• NDIS Worker Screening Check and Orientation Module Certificate required; genU will assist.

Mansioni

• Support people with disability to identify and achieve their employment goals using a person-centred employment pathways approach.
• Develop, review and update individualised employment plans with participants, families and support networks.
• Deliver capacity-building activities including career planning, job readiness, confidence building and employment preparation.
• Provide mentoring and on-the-job coaching for volunteering, work experience and paid employment opportunities.
• Conduct participant and workplace assessments, provide post-placement support and foster relationships with employers for sustainable outcomes.
• Maintain accurate documentation and records in line with policies and legislative requirements.
