Job summary

genU is seeking an Employment Pathways Practitioner in Ballarat to empower people with disability to build confidence, develop skills and pursue meaningful employment outcomes.

You will deliver employment preparation, mentoring and coaching, and you will connect participants with employers and support services. This full-time role supports a profit-for-purpose organisation reinvesting in community programs.

Qualifications

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Experience in disability or employment services.
• Ability to build relationships with participants and employers.

Responsibilities

• Partner with participants to identify and achieve employment-related goals.
• Develop, review and update discovery and employment plans.
• Deliver employment preparation programs and confidence-building activities.
• Provide mentoring and on-the-job coaching in various settings.
• Develop and maintain relationships with local employers and identify opportunities.
• Connect participants with support services including allied health and other agencies.
