Job summary

Westhaven is seeking a dedicated Caseworker for a 6-month fixed-term contract in Dubbo to support and advocate for Children and Young People living with significant disability. You will coordinate casework within a Therapeutic Care Team and ensure timely development of Case Plans while maintaining records and data integrity.

The role requires a Bachelor degree in Psychology, Social Work or related field, a NSW driver’s licence, and the ability to obtain WWCC and NDISWC checks.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in Psychology, Social Work, or a relevant Behavioural Science.
• Current NSW Driver's licence.
• Willingness to obtain WWCC and NDISWC.

Responsibilities

• Work as part of a Therapeutic Care Team, managing the casework cycle for children and young people in care.
• Ensure Case Plans are developed, reviewed and implemented within set timeframes.
• Maintain regular contact with children and young people, seek their views and opinions and monitor their wellbeing.
• Ensure that data is collected and recorded in a timely way.
• Ensure that Casework is conducted consistent with the NSW Office of the Children’s Guardian (OCG).
