Job summary

Westhaven is seeking a dedicated Caseworker in Bathurst for a 6 month fixed-term contract to support and advocate for Children and Young People living with significant disability to live life the way they choose.

As part of the Therapeutic Care Team, you will coordinate casework responsibilities, develop Case Plans, maintain regular contact with CYP, and ensure compliance with relevant guardianship requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in Psychology, Social Work, or a relevant Behavioural Science.
• Current NSW Driver’s licence and ability to obtain WWCC.
• National Criminal Record Check and NDIS Worker Check (NDISWC) clearance.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate casework responsibilities for children and young people in care.
• Develop, review and implement Case Plans within set timeframes.
• Maintain regular contact with children and young people, seek their views and monitor wellbeing.
• Data collection and recording using client management databases and Google Suite.
• Ensure casework complies with NSW Office of the Children’s Guardian requirements.
