AngloGold Ashanti Australia is seeking a senior leader to develop robust life-of-mine plans for Open Pit assets in the Australian region. Reporting to the VP Technical Services, you will identify constraints, communicate options, and drive value through strategic planning and continuous improvement.

The role requires 15+ years in Open Pit gold mining, strong financial acumen, and the ability to travel to mine sites. Perth-based with regional travel expectations.

Qualifications

• A degree in a mining-related discipline is required.
• Fifteen years of experience in Open Pit mining is expected.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail are essential.

Responsibilities

• Lead development and optimisation of Life-of-Mine Open Pit asset strategies.
• Drive value creation and continuous improvement across planning processes.
• Ensure alignment of physical and cost profiles with strategic options.
• Coordinate reporting and sign-off on Open Pit Ore Reserves within the Australia BU.
