Job summary

Thomson Reuters ANZ is seeking a Solution Consultant - Direct Tax to provide deep tax, product and solution expertise throughout the pre‑sales process. You will partner with Corporate Sales to demonstrate how Thomson Reuters technology addresses tax and compliance challenges across Australia and New Zealand.

You will translate business requirements into compelling demonstrations, engage with senior tax and technology stakeholders, and drive value through tailored solution designs.

Qualifications

• Experience in corporate/direct tax, tax technology, accounting, professional services or enterprise software solutions.
• Strong understanding of corporate tax processes and challenges faced by large organisations.
• Experience working with customers in a consulting, pre-sales, tax, product or technology capacity.
• Strong presentation and communication skills; ability to simplify complex concepts for technical and business audiences.
• Confident engaging with senior stakeholders (Heads of Tax, Tax Directors, CFOs, technology teams).
• Strong commercial awareness and ability to connect customer requirements to measurable business outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Partner with Sales to support new business and expansion opportunities across the Direct Tax portfolio.
• Lead discovery with customers to understand current tax processes, tech environment, challenges and outcomes.
• Deliver tailored product demonstrations aligned to customer requirements and use cases.
• Act as a trusted subject matter expert in meetings, workshops, presentations and competitive sales situations.
• Translate complex tax and business requirements into solution recommendations and designs.
• Support RFPs, RFIs and proof‑of‑concepts; assist with go‑to‑market activities.
