Job summary

Your Choice Supports Pty Ltd in Brisbane East is seeking a Disability Support Worker to provide person-centred personal care and daily-living support across Brisbane suburbs. You will assist with medication, mobility, and community access while maintaining accurate progress notes and communicating with the care team.

Qualifications

• Minimum two years' disability or complex-care experience.
• Current First Aid and CPR.
• Current NDIS Worker Screening Check or relevant state clearance.
• Current manual‑handling and medication‑administration certification.
• Driver licence, reliable transport and appropriate vehicle insurance where client transport is required.
• Australian work rights.

Your care experience can make a real difference. Provide person‑centred personal care and daily‑living support, assist with medication and agreed care routines, support safe manual handling, transfers and mobility, help with community access, appointments and participation, and complete accurate progress notes and communicate with the care team.

Essential Requirements:

• Minimum two years' disability or complex‑care experience
• Certificate III in Individual Support, Disability, Aged Care, Health Care or a related qualification
• Current First Aid and CPR

Desirable Experience or Licences:

• ABI, TBI or behavioural‑support experience
• Bowel, catheter, PEG, epilepsy or other complex‑care experience
• Working With Children Check where required
• Experience working within a 24/7 home‑care team

Shift and Availability:

• AM, PM, active‑night and sleepover shifts may be available across seven‑day rosters. Record your regular availability and any restrictions clearly.

Indicative Market Pay:

• $35-$45 per hour plus super; penalties may apply based on the employer, award or agreement, duties, shift, and over‑time.
