Job summary

Workpro is seeking Disability Support Workers for Brisbane East & Inner South. You will provide person-centred care, assist with daily living, support mobility, help with medications, and accompany clients to appointments in a flexible roster.

Ideal candidates have 2+ years in disability or complex care, a relevant Certificate III, First Aid/ CPR, NDIS clearance, and a valid driver licence. Australian work rights are required. Various shifts including weekends may apply.

Qualifications

• Minimum two years' disability or complex-care experience.
• Certificate III in Individual Support, Disability, Aged Care, Health Care or related qualification.
• Current First Aid and CPR.
• Current NDIS Worker Screening Check or state clearance.
• Current manual-handling and medication-administration certification.
• Driver licence and reliable transport; vehicle insurance if client transport is needed.
• Australian work rights.

• Support community access, appointments and participation

ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS

• Minimum two years' disability or complex-care experience
• Certificate III in Individual Support, Disability, Aged Care, Health Care or a related qualification
• Current First Aid and CPR
• Current NDIS Worker Screening Check or relevant state clearance
• Current manual-handling and medication-administration certification
• Driver licence, reliable transport and appropriate vehicle insurance where client transport is required
• Australian work rights

DESIRABLE EXPERIENCE OR LICENCES

• ABI, TBI or behavioural-support experience
• Bowel, catheter, PEG, epilepsy or other complex-care experience
• Working With Children Check where required
• Experience working within a 24/7 home-care team

SHIFT AND AVAILABILITY

AM, PM, active-night and sleepover shifts may be available across seven-day rosters. Record your regular availability and any restrictions clearly.

INDICATIVE MARKET PAY

$35-$45 per hour + super; penalties may apply
