Job summary

Workpro is seeking Disability Support Workers for Brisbane East & Inner South, with duties across Cannon Hill, Coorparoo, Balmoral and surrounding suburbs. Casual/temporary roles with flexible rosters and ongoing opportunities are available.

You will provide person-centred care, assist with mobility and medications, and help clients access the community. Essential requirements include two years of disability or complex-care experience, a Certificate III in a related field, current First Aid/CPR

• Certificate III in Individual Support, Disability, Aged Care, Health Care or related qualification.
• Current First Aid and CPR.
• NDIS Worker Screening Check or state clearance.
• Manual-handling and medication-administration certification.

KEY DUTIES

• Provide person-centred personal care and daily-living support
• Support safe manual handling, transfers and mobility
• Assist with medication and agreed care routines
• Support community access, appointments and participation
• Complete accurate progress notes and communicate with the care team

ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS

• Minimum two years' disability or complex-care experience
• Certificate III in Individual Support, Disability, Aged Care, Health Care or a related qualification
• Current First Aid and CPR
• Current NDIS Worker Screening Check or relevant state clearance
• Current manual-handling and medication-administration certification
• Driver licence, reliable transport and appropriate vehicle insurance where client transport is required
• Australian work rights

DESIRABLE EXPERIENCE OR LICENCES

• ABI, TBI or behavioural-support experience
• Bowel, catheter, PEG, epilepsy or other complex-care experience
• Working With Children Check where required
• Experience working within a 24/7 home-care team

SHIFT AND AVAILABILITY

AM, PM, active-night and sleepover shifts may be available across seven-day rosters. Record your regular availability and any restrictions clearly.

INDICATIVE MARKET PAY

$35-$45 per hour + super; penalties may apply
