Job summary

Workpro is seeking Disability Support Workers for Brisbane East and surrounding suburbs (Cannon Hill, Coorparoo, Balmoral). Casual/temporary roles with flexible rosters and ongoing opportunities across Brisbane, QLD. You will provide patient-centered care, assist with mobility and daily living, and support community access.

Shifts include AM/PM/active-night with potential sleepovers; rates of $35–$45 per hour plus super. The actual rate depends on employer, award, and duties.

Qualifications

• Minimum two years' disability or complex-care experience.
• Certificate III in related qualification.
• Current First Aid and CPR.
• Current NDIS Worker Screening Check or state clearance.
• Current manual-handling and medication-administration certification.
• Driver licence and reliable transport.
• Australian work rights.

Responsibilities

ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS

• Minimum two years' disability or complex-care experience
• Certificate III in Individual Support, Disability, Aged Care, Health Care or a related qualification
• Current First Aid and CPR
• Current NDIS Worker Screening Check or relevant state clearance
• Current manual-handling and medication-administration certification
• Driver licence, reliable transport and appropriate vehicle insurance where client transport is required
• Australian work rights

DESIRABLE EXPERIENCE OR LICENCES

• ABI, TBI or behavioural-support experience
• Bowel, catheter, PEG, epilepsy or other complex-care experience
• Working With Children Check where required
• Experience working within a 24/7 home-care team

SHIFT AND AVAILABILITY

AM, PM, active-night and sleepover shifts may be available across seven-day rosters. Record your regular availability and any restrictions clearly.

INDICATIVE MARKET PAY

$35-$45 per hour + super; penalties may apply
