Job summary

WorkPro is recruiting Disability Support Workers to cover Brisbane East & Inner South regions including Cannon Hill, Coorparoo and surrounding suburbs. Roles are casual/temporary with flexible rosters and ongoing opportunities. Applicants should have relevant qualifications and a strong client-centred approach.

• Driver licence and reliable transport where client transport is required.
• Australian work rights.

• Support safe manual handling, transfers and mobility.
• Assist with medication and agreed care routines.
• Support community access, appointments and participation.
• Complete accurate progress notes and communicate with the care team.

KEY DUTIES

• Provide person-centred personal care and daily-living support
• Support safe manual handling, transfers and mobility

ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS

• Minimum two years' disability or complex-care experience
• Certificate III in Individual Support, Disability, Aged Care, Health Care or a related qualification
• Current First Aid and CPR
• Current NDIS Worker Screening Check or relevant state clearance
• Current manual-handling and medication-administration certification
• Driver licence, reliable transport and appropriate vehicle insurance where client transport is required
• Australian work rights

DESIRABLE EXPERIENCE OR LICENCES

• ABI, TBI or behavioural-support experience
• Bowel, catheter, PEG, epilepsy or other complex-care experience
• Working With Children Check where required
• Experience working within a 24/7 home-care team

SHIFT AND AVAILABILITY

AM, PM, active-night and sleepover shifts may be available across seven-day rosters. Record your regular availability and any restrictions clearly.

INDICATIVE MARKET PAY

$35-$45 per hour + super; penalties may apply

Based on live advertised rates reviewed September 2026. The actual rate will depend on the employer, award or agreement, employment type, duties, shift, penalties and overtime
