Job summary

Workpro is seeking Disability Support Workers to provide person-centred personal care and daily living support in Brisbane East & Inner South, including Cannon Hill, Coorparoo and surrounding Brisbane suburbs. Casual / Temporary / Flexible Rosters / Ongoing Opportunities.

Key duties include manual handling, transfers and mobility support, medication assistance, helping clients access the community, attending appointments, and recording progress notes for the care team.

Qualifications

• Minimum two years' disability or complex-care experience.
• Certificate III in Individual Support, Disability, Aged Care, Health Care or a related qualification.
• Current First Aid and CPR.
• Current NDIS Worker Screening Check or relevant state clearance.
• Current manual-handling and medication-administration certification.
• Driver licence and reliable transport with appropriate vehicle insurance when client transport is required.
• Australian work rights.

ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS

• Minimum two years' disability or complex-care experience
• Certificate III in Individual Support, Disability, Aged Care, Health Care or a related qualification
• Current First Aid and CPR

• Current manual-handling and medication-administration certification

DESIRABLE EXPERIENCE OR LICENCES

• ABI, TBI or behavioural-support experience
• Bowel, catheter, PEG, epilepsy or other complex-care experience
• Working With Children Check where required
• Experience working within a 24/7 home-care team

SHIFT AND AVAILABILITY

AM, PM, active-night and sleepover shifts may be available across seven-day rosters. Record your regular availability and any restrictions clearly.

INDICATIVE MARKET PAY

$35-$45 per hour + super; penalties may apply. Based on live advertised rates reviewed September 2026. The actual rate will depend on the employer, award or agreement, employment type, duties, shift, penalties and overtime.
