Job summary

Orange City Council's Courallie Park Preschool and Early Education Centre is seeking an educator to join a small team delivering preschool and early education programs. You will help create a safe, stimulating, healthy learning environment and work within the National Quality Framework.

The role requires a Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care (or equivalent), a Working with Children Check, National Safety Training, First Aid, and strong communication and planning skills.

As part of the Courallie team,you will be help create a safe, stimulating, healthy and caring learning environment that fosters and maximises each child’s individual development potential.

So, what do you need?

• Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care or Equivalent
• Working with Children Check clearance
• Mandatory National Child Safety Training from Geccko (Get early childhood compliance knowledge online)
• Current First Aid Certificate - Provide an emergency first aid response in an education and care setting
• Demonstrated experience working in accordance with the National Quality Framework in providing an education and care service
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Strong creativity and problem-solving skills
• Excellent organisational and planning skills, being able to work to deadlines and set priorities
• Demonstrated ability to work and contribute as part of a team
