Job summary

Caloundra City Private School is seeking a Diploma Qualified Educator to join CCPS Little Learners across our Early Learning Centre and OSHC, with flexible hours in a full-time or part-time arrangement.

The role provides support across learning rooms and OSHC, working with children of different ages, contributing to curriculum, observations and the daily program, under an experienced leadership team.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care or equivalent.
• Experience in an Early Childhood Education and Care setting.
• Current Working With Children Blue Card.
• Current First Aid/CPR, Asthma and Anaphylaxis qualifications, or willingness to obtain.
• Commitment to child safety and high standard of care.

CCPS Little Learners is looking for a passionate and dedicated Diploma Qualified Educator to join our team in a flexible role working across our Early Learning Centre and OSHC program.

This is a great opportunity for an experienced educator who enjoys working with children across different age groups, values teamwork and is looking for a role where no two days are exactly the same.

About the Role

This position will provide support across our Early Learning rooms and OSHC, depending on the needs of the service.

You may be working within our early learning rooms during the day and supporting our OSHC program in the afternoon. The role will suit someone who is adaptable, confident and happy to work across different environments while maintaining high-quality care, education and supervision.

You will be supported by an experienced leadership team and become part of a friendly and collaborative team who genuinely care about the children and families we work with.

We are looking for someone who:

• Holds a Diploma of Early Childhood Education and Care or equivalent.
• Has experience working in an Early Childhood Education and Care setting.
• Has a genuine passion for supporting children's learning, development and wellbeing.
• Is confident working with different age groups.
• Is flexible and willing to support where needed across the centre.
• Builds positive and respectful relationships with children, families and colleagues.
• Has strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Is reliable, enthusiastic and brings a positive attitude to work.
• Is committed to child safety and maintaining a high standard of care.
• Can contribute to our curriculum, observations, documentation and daily program.
• Is comfortable supporting our OSHC program and school-aged children.
