Your Role

As a Diploma or Certificate III Educator at Bayside Early Learners, you will play an important role in creating a safe, nurturing and engaging environment where every child feels valued, supported and encouraged to thrive.

Working alongside your Room Leader and fellow educators, you will:

Deliver high-quality care and education through meaningful, play-based learning experiences that support children's individual interests, needs and development.

Build positive and trusting relationships with children, families and colleagues, fostering a welcoming and inclusive environment.

Actively engage with children throughout the day, encouraging curiosity, exploration, independence and learning.

Take initiative and contribute to the team, working collaboratively and supporting the smooth running of daily routines and activities.

Support programming and documentation, contributing to observations, learning experiences and the ongoing assessment of children's development.

Maintain a safe and well-organised environment, consistently following centre policies, procedures and regulatory requirements.

Demonstrate professionalism and accountability, taking pride in your work and maintaining high standards of care and practice.

Prioritise child safety and active supervision at all times, remaining attentive, proactive and responsive to children's wellbeing and needs.

About You

You are a passionate, caring and dedicated early childhood professional who takes pride in making a positive difference in children's lives.

You understand the importance of creating a safe, nurturing and engaging environment where every child feels supported, included and encouraged to reach their full potential.

You bring:

A Certificate III or Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care (or an ACECQA-approved equivalent qualification).

A genuine passion for early childhood education and a commitment to providing high-quality care.

A strong understanding of child safety, active supervision and responsibilities under the National Quality Framework.
