Job summary

eHealth NSW is seeking a Digital Specialist - Workforce Applications to join the ROB Team, delivering functional expertise and continuous improvements for Taleo-based recruitment and onboarding across NSW Health.

You will provide day-to-day support, collaborate with stakeholders to capture requirements, document solutions, and ensure system reliability while benefiting from hybrid work options in Chatswood, St Leonards or Charlestown.

Qualifications

• Has strong experience implementing, enhancing and supporting workforce applications, especially Taleo Recruiting and Onboarding.
• Able to gather business requirements and translate into effective Taleo solutions.
• Proficient in analyzing data and troubleshooting Taleo related issues.

Responsibilities

• Provide functional and technical support for Oracle Taleo Recruiting and Onboarding.
• Deliver day-to-day functional and system support for Taleo.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to capture requirements and develop solutions.
• Design and document application solutions to improve performance and UX.

• Support testing, upgrades and incident resolution.

As a Digital Specialist - Workforce Applications within our HCM Recruitment and Onboarding (ROB) Team, you will support and enhance critical workforce applications, delivering functional expertise and continuous improvements that enable effective recruitment and onboarding across NSW Health.

In this role, you will:

• Provide functional and technical support for workforce applications Oracle Taleo Recruiting and Onboarding ensuring a high level of service for stakeholders.
• Provide day-to-day functional and system support for Oracle Taleo Recruiting and Onboarding.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather business requirements and develop effective solutions.
• Design and document application solutions that enhance system performance and user experience.
• Build and maintain application configurations, including testing and supporting documentation.
• Resolve complex application incidents and identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
• Support system testing and production verification for Taleo changes, fixes and upgrades.
• Participate in and present at webinars, meetings and stakeholder forums, representing the ROB Support team and sharing clear information about Taleo functionality, system changes, incidents and support processes.

About You

• Has strong experience implementing, enhancing and supporting workforce application solutions, particularly Oracle Taleo Recruiting and Onboarding, supported by relevant qualifications or equivalent experience.
• Brings hands‑on knowledge of Taleo recruitment processes, including requisitions, candidate profiles, applications, offers, onboarding workflows, user access and security roles.
• Has strong analytical and troubleshooting skills, with experience investigating complex business, integration and interface issues, including using SQL queries for data analysis and incident resolution.
• Communicates clearly and works effectively with stakeholders, with the ability to translate technical issues into simple, practical solutions and deliver a positive customer experience.
• Has strong documentation and organisational skills, including developing knowledge articles, support procedures and troubleshooting guides.
