Job summary

Calvary Health Care Kogarah is seeking a skilled Dietitian for a casual role to deliver best practice nutrition care to patients across inpatient, outpatient and community settings.

You may contribute to care in aged care, rehabilitation or palliative care while working within a supportive multidisciplinary team and Calvary's mission. Eligibility for Dietitians Australia and a current Driver's Licence are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor or postgraduate degree in nutrition and dietetics that provides eligibility for full membership of the Dietitians Australia and a current Driver's Licence (Class C).
• Demonstrated core competency skills in Dietetics within aged care, rehabilitation and/or palliative care.
• Demonstrated high level written, verbal and interpersonal skills, to engage patients/clients and work with the multi-disciplinary team.
• Demonstrated ability to exercise independent professional judgement in clinical care using evidence-based practice.

About the role

In this casual role you will provide best practice dietetic care to patients/clients of Calvary Health Care Kogarah. You may provide services within an inpatient, outpatient or community setting. Clinical areas covered may include aged care, rehabilitation or palliative care.

Your main duties will include:

About you:

• Bachelor or post graduate degree in nutrition and dietetics that provides eligibility for full membership of the Dietitians Australia and a current Drivers Licence (Class C).
• Demonstrated core competency skills in Dietetics within aged care, rehabilitation and/or palliative care.
• Demonstrated high level written, verbal and interpersonal skills, to both engage patients/clients and work effectively with the multi-disciplinary team.
• Demonstrated ability to exercise independent professional judgement in the provision of clinical care using evidence based practice, commensurate with years of experience.
• Demonstrated commitment to the use and application of professional and clinical digital technologies.
• Demonstrated participation or leadership in quality improvement processes and teaching, commensurate with years of experience.
• Ability to respond to the demands and pressures of the role while managing time effectively.
• Ability to work within the Mission and Values of Calvary Health Care Kogarah
