Job summary

Metro North Health's Caboolture Hospital seeks a Dietetic Assistant - Room Service Support to help patients choose meals, monitor intake and support nutrition interventions aligned with dietary needs.

You will work with dietitians, nursing and food service teams, using computerised menus to record selections, track nutrition goals and ensure safe, therapeutic meals that aid recovery.

About the roleThe Dietetic Assistant - Room Service Support plays an important role in supporting patient nutrition and wellbeing at Caboolture Hospital. Working within the Dietetics & Food Services team, this position provides direct patient care by assisting patients to select appropriate meals, monitoring nutritional intake and supporting the delivery of safe and effective nutrition interventions that align with individual dietary requirements.In this role, you will work closely with patients, dietitians, nursing staff and food service teams to optimise nutritional outcomes.
