AMA Maintenance Alliance in Rockhampton is seeking qualified Diesel Fitters / Heavy Diesel Mechanics for opportunities across Central Queensland and the Bowen Basin. Whether you want steady long-term work or ad hoc shifts, we can tailor rosters that fit your availability and home-life needs.

Join a locally owned team focused on safety, quality and skilled diagnostics. You’ll service and repair heavy mobile equipment from Caterpillar, Komatsu, Hitachi and Liebherr and build long-term career

Formación

• Certificate III in Mobile Plant Technology or equivalent is required.
• Experience maintaining heavy mobile plant in mining or heavy industry is required.
• Current Standard 11 and Coal Board Medical are required.
• Current driver’s licence is required.

Responsabilidades

• Diagnosing faults and carrying out breakdown repairs on heavy mobile mining equipment.
• Completing scheduled servicing and preventative maintenance.
• Troubleshooting mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic and electrical systems.
• Maintaining haul trucks, dozers, graders, loaders and excavators across Caterpillar, Komatsu, Hitachi and Liebherr fleets.
• Working safely with the maintenance team to keep equipment reliable and minimise downtime.

The work

What you'll bring

• Certificate III in Mobile Plant Technology or an equivalent recognised diesel fitting trade qualification.
• Experience maintaining heavy mobile plant in mining or heavy industry.
• Current Standard 11 and Coal Board Medical.
• Current driver's licence.
• Strong diagnostic skills, pride in your workmanship and a commitment to safe work.
• A reliable approach and willingness to work as part of a team.
