Job summary

Autonomy & Asset Management Group is seeking experienced Diesel Fitters to support the Adhoc Team on sites across the Bowen Basin. The role involves troubleshooting faults, routine servicing, field and workshop maintenance, rebuilds, and safety-focused work across diverse mining sites.

Applicants should hold a Australian-recognised Diesel Fitter trade qualification, a current Driver Licence, and a Coal Board Medical with Standard 11. Mining experience and additional tickets are highly regarded.

Qualifications

• Australian-recognised Diesel Fitter trade qualification.
• Current Australian Driver Licence.
• Current Coal Board Medical and Standard 11.
• Experience in mining industry; CAT/Komatsu/Liebherr/Hitachi equipment highly regarded.
• RII tickets like Working at Heights, EWP, Dogging, Confined Space and Forklift are advantageous.

Job description

AAMG is currently seeking experienced Diesel Fitters to support the Adhoc Team on sites across the Bowen Basin.

About the Role

As an Adhoc Diesel Fitter, you will be responsible for:

• Troubleshooting and diagnosing equipment faults
• Routine servicing and preventative maintenance
• Field and workshop-based maintenance
• Rebuilds, scheduled maintenance and breakdown repairs
• Supporting safe and efficient equipment operation
• Participating in toolbox and safety meetings
• Completing hazard identification, risk assessments and JSAs
• Working safely and productively across various mining environments

What We're Looking For

• Australian-recognised Diesel Fitter trade qualification
• Current Australian Driver Licence
• Current Coal Board Medical and Standard 11
• Previous mining industry experienceExperience with CAT, Komatsu, Liebherr or Hitachi equipment highly regarded
• Additional RII tickets such as Working at Heights, EWP, Dogging, Confined Space and Forklift highly regarded
• Strong safety focus and a commitment to safe, productive work practices
• Ability to adapt quickly to different sites, equipment and work environments
