Job summary

Resolute Mechanical Services Pty Ltd is seeking experienced Diesel Fitters for FIFO and DIDO roles across QLD coal mines and civil projects. The company emphasizes unwavering standards, ownership, and a culture that values its people and client outcomes.

You will diagnose, service, and repair heavy mobile equipment, perform electrical and hydraulic diagnostics, and support preventative maintenance to meet site and OEM standards. FIFO/DIDO rosters 7/7 with OT on request.

Qualifications

• Trade qualified Diesel Fitter with heavy mobile equipment experience.
• Proven mine site experience with FIFO/DIDO capacity.
• Current Standard 11 and QLD Coal Board Medical in place.
• OEM background (CAT, Hitachi, Liebherr) with at least one OEM machine experience.
• High Risk Work Licence (Forklift, EWP, Dogging, etc) is desirable.
• Current driver’s licence is required.

Responsibilities

• Diagnostics, servicing, and repairs on heavy mobile equipment.
• Electrical and hydraulic diagnostics.
• Preventative maintenance and defect management support.
• Work completed to site, safety, and above-OEM standards.
• FIFO / DIDO rosters: 7/7, OT available on request.

• Experience with at least one OEM equipment manufacturer required
• High Risk Work Licence (Desired-Forklift, EWP, Dogging, etc)
• Current driver's licence
