Thiess in North West Queensland is seeking an experienced Diesel Fitter to join the Eva Copper Mine Project. You will support safe, efficient production across our fleet and work within a high-performing maintenance team on a 2:2 roster, with full-time employment and FIFO options from Townsville or Brisbane.

As the Diesel Fitter, you will diagnose faults, perform servicing, and maintain heavy mobile equipment to Thiess standards, contributing to a major greenfield mining operation in the

Qualifikationen

• Current Drivers Licence.
• Post-trade experience in the mining environment.
• Experience in maintenance, breakdowns, component change-outs and servicing of heavy earthmoving equipment.
• Good work ethic and commitment to continuous improvement.

Aufgaben

• Work safely and comply with the Site Safety Health and Management System.
• Maintain, repair and service on a variety of mobile plant equipment safely and efficiently in line with Thiess and Industry standards.
• Excellent diagnostic, fault finding, troubleshooting and preventative maintenance skills.
• Be highly motivated and committed to deliver quality results.
• Follow work instructions and complete all paperwork to a high standard.
• Ensure good housekeeping standards are always maintained, ensuring a safe work environment.

The Eva Copper Mine Project islocatedon the traditional lands of the Kalkadoon People inNorthWestQueensland, approximately 75 km north-west of Cloncurry and about 95 km north-east of Mount Isa.

The Project is aniron-oxide copper-gold resource featuring multiple open pits and is poised to become the largest greenfield copper mine in Queensland.

• Have a good work ethic and commitment to continuous improvement, be able to work as an individual within the maintenance team
