Be Recruitment partnering with a reputable not-for-profit organisation in South-Western Sydney is seeking a Domestic and Family Violence Outreach Worker. The role focuses on providing short-term case management and practical support to women and children experiencing DFSV.

Qualifications

• Qualification in Social Work, Community Services or related discipline.
• Experience in domestic and family violence, homelessness or community-based case management.
• Sound understanding of DFSV risk assessment, safety planning and trauma-informed practice.
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work collaboratively with women from diverse backgrounds.
• Excellent organisational, communication and case documentation skills.
• Current driver’s licence and willingness to undertake Working with Children and National Police Checks.

Responsibilities

• Provide short-term case management and practical support to women and children experiencing DFSV.
• Conduct DFSV risk assessments, safety planning and individualised case planning.
• Support access to safe accommodation, housing, legal assistance and other community services.
• Conduct telephonic and in-person outreach appointments and provide practical support, advocacy and referrals.
• Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure coordinated service delivery.
• Participate in a shared on-call roster, approximately once every 8–12 weeks.
