Job summary

Co. Recruit is seeking an Development Manager to lead a large-scale masterplanned community project in Brisbane. You will manage planning, delivery and stakeholder engagement, guiding a multidisciplinary team through early stage concepts to implementation.

You will bring a tertiary qualification in property/construction/engineering and a proven track record in residential land development, with strong communication and reporting skills to influence senior leaders.

Qualifications

• Must have tertiary qualification in property, construction, engineering or related discipline.
• Proven experience in residential land development management.
• Strong communication and reporting skills with the ability to engage senior stakeholders.
• Experience delivering end-to-end project outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Lead the development and delivery of a large-scale masterplanned community from planning to completion.
• Guide a multidisciplinary project team through early stages to implementation.
• Engage senior stakeholders and report on progress to the General Manager.

The Role

Reporting to the General Manager - QLD, you will be responsible for a large-scale masterplanned community comprising residential land lots, local centres including apartment living, a neighbourhood centre, community infrastructure and more. With the project currently planning for the first stage, this role offers the opportunity to shape the project from the ground up, with a clear pathway to step into a Senior Development Manager role and lead the project team as the project progresses.

Requirements / Experience

• Relevant tertiary qualification in property, construction, engineering or related discipline.
• Proven experience in residential land development management position.
• Strong communication and reporting skills with the ability to engage senior stakeholders.
• Proven experience managing a project 'end to end' and delivering on project outcomes.
• Passion to succeed and progress your career.
