Campbelltown City Council is seeking an experienced Development Engineer to support the Development Engineering Team within the Planning and Environment Division. You will provide expert engineering advice on subdivisions and developments across the local government area, guiding timely decisions and ensuring compliance with best practices.

The role reports to the Coordinator Development Engineering and offers a challenging opportunity to shape Campbelltown’s future.

Competenze

Tertiary qualifications required in civil or surveying engineering.
Minimum 2 years experience in civil or environmental engineering with road and drainage design.
White Card (General Construction Induction Training) and current Class C driver’s licence.
Knowledge of Local Government practices and recent legislative changes.

Mansioni

Appraise subdivisional road and drainage plans to ensure compliance with engineering design principles and Council requirements.
Inspect and recommend approvals for subdivision road drainage and development engineering work.
Assess and provide engineering advice and conditions for standard Development Applications.
Assess and provide clearance for release of small-scale Subdivision Certificates for engineering matters.
Assess and determine Section 68 applications.
