Job summary

Northern Beaches Council is seeking a Specialist Development Application Lodgement Officer to manage the administrative components of Development Applications and coordinate communication between Assessment Officers and the community.

The role requires knowledge of NSW planning systems and lodgement requirements; a NSW Class C Driver Licence is essential. It is a permanent full-time role with a 35-hour week and salary range $96,309.15–$111,927.21 per annum + super.

Qualifications

• Experience with lodgement requirements for development applications in NSW Local Government.
• Ability to deliver accurate work within tight timeframes in a fast-paced environment.
• Current NSW Class C Driver's Licence.

Responsibilities

• Undertake preliminary reviews of applications ensuring information is submitted and referrals are completed.
• Interpret, apply and provide advice on NSW planning systems and policies.
• Build and maintain productive relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
• Provide administrative support to the Development Assessment teams with high-quality service.
