Northern Beaches Council is seeking a Specialist Development Application Lodgement Officer to manage the administrative components of Development Applications and facilitate communication between Assessment Officers and the community.

The role is permanent, full-time (35 hours per week) with a salary range of $96,309.15 to $111,927.21 per annum plus super. The council offers a rostered days off scheme, health and wellbeing leave, and flexible working including work from home.

Competenze

• Demonstrated administrative experience and knowledge of NSW lodgement requirements for Development Applications within Local Government.
• Ability to deliver accurate and consistent work within tight timeframes in a fast-paced high-volume environment.
• Current NSW Class C Driver’s Licence; experience with Technology One, Content Manager, Objective Trapeze, or similar software is highly regarded.

Mansioni

• Undertake preliminary reviews of Development Applications to ensure all required information is submitted and applicable referrals are completed.
• Interpret and apply the NSW Planning System (Environmental Planning & Assessment Act 1979, Environmental Planning & Assessment Regulation 2021, SEPPs, LEPs, DCPs) and provide guidance accordingly.
• Build and maintain productive relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
• Provide administrative support to the Development Assessment teams to ensure high-quality, responsive service.
