Job summary

Linde plc in Brisbane is seeking a transport dispatch professional to coordinate rotating shift hours (5am-1pm and 1pm-9pm) and ensure driver paperwork aligns with schedules and loads. You will work across shifts on a fortnightly rotating basis, supporting delivery operations and ensuring accuracy of documentation.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of experience in transport dispatch.
• Secondary School Certificate with Logistics diploma, certificate or equivalent.
• Knowledge of SAP systems and MS suite.
• Familiar with scanners for deliveries and able to learn new IT systems.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate shift operations and ensure driver paperwork aligns with schedule and load requirements.
• Liaise with customer service, scheduler and account managers to support inquiries and deliveries; communicate with drivers.
• Process and assemble picklists for loads; facilitate shipment inspection, settlements and trip confirmations; maintain stock accuracy.
• Report hazards, injuries and non-compliances per Linde standards and local regulations.
• Support distribution execution and perform admin data entry related to distributions.
• Monitor driver scanner usage and identify areas for improvement.

What you will enjoy doing

• The position will include - Shift hours Mornings 5am-1pm & Afternoons 1pm-9pm - applicates will be required towork both shifts on a rotating, fortnightly basis.
• You will be responsible for ensuring the driver paperwork aligns with the work scheduled and product loaded
• You shall liaise with the customer service, scheduler and/or account managers to support with customer enquiries and deliveries, connect with the drivers to communicate and execute the business requirements as they arise
• Process and assemble picklists for the loads. Facilitate with shipment inspection, settlements and trip confirmations, while maintaining site stock accuracy.
• Responsible for timely reporting of hazards, injuries, and accidents. Report non-compliances’ to Linde standards and/or local regulation to the business
• Facilitate the execution of distribution strategy as directed by the distribution manager. Responsible for admin data entry functions relevant to distributions
• Monitor and evaluate driver compliance to use scanner for completion of the runs and report areas of improvement

What makes you great

• You must have 1-3 years of experience in transport dispatch role
• Secondary School Certificate with Logistics diploma, certificate or equivalent (preferable)
• Knowledge of SAP systems and processes and MS suite (preferable)
• Exposed to the use of scanners for deliveries. Adept in technology and have the ability to learn new IT system
• Own reliable vehicle/transport a must, no public transport available
