Job summary

BOC Limited Australia is seeking a Despatcher in Rocklea (QLD) to coordinate daily dispatch activities. The role requires ensuring driver paperwork matches schedules and loads, and collaborating with customer service and drivers to meet delivery requirements.

Candidates should have 1-3 years in transport dispatch, a logistics qualification, and familiarity with SAP and MS Office. Own vehicle is required; on-site role with rotating shifts.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of experience in transport dispatch role.
• Secondary School Certificate with Logistics diploma, certificate or equivalent (preferable).
• Knowledge of SAP systems and processes and MS suite (preferable).
• Exposed to the use of scanners for deliveries. Adept in technology and have the ability to learn new IT system.
• Own reliable vehicle/transport a must, no public transport available.

Responsibilities

• Ensure driver paperwork aligns with the scheduled work and loaded products.
• Liaise with customer service, scheduler and account managers to support customer enquiries and deliveries; connect with drivers to communicate business requirements.
• Process and assemble picklists for loads; facilitate shipment inspection, settlements and trip confirmations while maintaining stock accuracy.
• Report hazards, injuries and accidents and non-compliances to standards/regulations.
• Assist in executing the distribution strategy and perform admin data entry for distributions.
• Monitor driver scanner usage and identify areas for improvement.
