Troocoo Pty is seeking an experienced Desktop Home Assessor in Adelaide to join a growing claims team. The role focuses on assessing residential property damage using virtual tools, preparing detailed scopes of work and negotiating repair costs with contractors.

Ideal candidates have construction or insurance assessment experience, strong communication and stakeholder management skills, and the ability to manage claims end-to-end while meeting timeframes and quality standards.

• Strong understanding of building damage, repair methods and construction processes.
• Experience preparing or reviewing Scopes of Work and validating repair costs.
• Excellent communication, negotiation and stakeholder management skills.
• Strong organisational skills and ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines.
• Customer-focused with strong problem-solving and conflict resolution skills.
• Comfort with technology and virtual assessment tools.

Aufgaben

• Assess residential property damage using virtual assessment technology.
• Prepare accurate damage reports and detailed Scopes of Work.
• Review builders’ scopes, validate repair costs and negotiate fair outcomes with repairers.
• Determine appropriate repair methods balancing quality, cost and customer expectations.
• Manage a portfolio of claims from initial assessment through repair completion.
• Maintain regular communication with customers, builders, suppliers and internal stakeholders.
• Monitor repair progress and ensure claims are finalised within timeframes and quality standards.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards, policies and procedures.

We’re seeking an experienced Desktop Home Assessor to join a growing team within the insurance and claims industry.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a background in building, construction or insurance assessing who enjoys problem-solving, managing claims end-to-end and delivering positive customer outcomes.

The Role

• Assess residential property damage using virtual assessment technology.
• Prepare accurate damage reports and detailed Scopes of Work.
• Review builders’ scopes, validate repair costs and negotiate fair outcomes with repairers.
• Determine appropriate repair methods, balancing quality, compliance, cost and customer expectations.
• Manage a portfolio of claims from initial assessment through to repair completion.
• Maintain regular communication with customers, builders, suppliers and internal stakeholders.

• Ensure compliance with relevant industry standards, policies and procedures.

About You
