Job summary

Kinetic IT is seeking an Associate Systems Engineer to provide onsite end-user support across desktop, laptop, mobile, and peripheral environments. You will troubleshoot incidents, support hardware refresh and deployment, and maintain technology assets while delivering high service standards.

You will travel to customer sites, perform deskside and field support, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within a collaborative team.

Qualifications

• Experience in desktop or end-user IT support.
• Strong troubleshooting in Windows 10/11.
• Experience with mobile devices (iOS/Android).
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to manage priorities and work autonomously.
• Driver's licence and willingness to travel to customer sites.
• Experience supporting hardware deployments and asset management.
• Exposure to SCCM/Configuration Manager and ITIL practices is advantageous.
• ITIL Foundation or Microsoft Modern Desktop Administrator certifications are advantageous.
• Collaborative approach and commitment to continuous learning.

Responsibilities

• Providing onsite desktop, laptop, peripheral and mobile device support.
• Troubleshooting and resolving hardware, software and connectivity issues.
• Delivering deskside, field and priority support services.
• Supporting hardware refresh, deployment and migration projects.
• Managing IT assets, stock control and device lifecycle activities.
• Creating and maintaining technical documentation and knowledge articles.
• Identifying recurring issues and contributing to service improvement initiatives.
• Undertaking metropolitan and regional site visits as required.
• Delivering exceptional customer service and building strong stakeholder relationships.
• Participating in after-hours support and on-call activities when required.
