Job summary

MedHealth is seeking a Desktop Support Technician to manage end-user computing devices from setup to disposal, working closely with TechBar and Service Desk to ensure seamless support across the organisation.

You will image, deploy, and maintain laptops, support induction and offboarding, and keep asset records up to date, while contributing to lifecycle management and secure disposal in line with policy.

Qualifications

• Required: Basic understanding of Windows and Microsoft 365 environments.
• Familiarity with laptop imaging and deployment processes.
• Knowledge and experience in laptop physical maintenance and upgrades.
• Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
• Good customer service and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and deploy laptops with imaging and configuration to required specs.
• Induct new team members and securely wipe equipment for departing staff.
• Maintain records of hardware assets and inventory visibility.
• Keep build room organized and prepared for action.
• Extend device lifecycles through repairs, warranty claims and lifecycle management.
• Ensure hardware is redeployed or disposed according to company policy.
• Collaborate with TechBar and Service Desk to prioritise hardware requests and deployments.
