SASTTI Joint Venture is seeking a Senior Structural Engineer to lead the structural design components for water and wastewater infrastructure projects, from early scoping through to detailed design and construction support.

You will mentor junior engineers, coordinate with clients, contractors, and stakeholders, review calculations and reports, and ensure solutions comply with Australian Standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.
• Minimum 5 years in engineering consultancy with a focus on structural design.
• Experience leading small engineering teams and mentoring juniors.
• Ability to prepare and review design docs, calculations, and reports.
• Strong knowledge of Australian Standards AS 3600 and AS 5100 and WSAA codes.
• Excellent communication and client-engagement skills.
• Chartered status with Engineers Australia or working towards.
• Full working rights in Australia.

Responsabilités

• Lead the structural design components of water and wastewater projects.
• Coordinate and review work by junior staff and external consultants.
• Take lead in client workshops and progress deliverables.
• Undertake inspections and assessments to support rehab planning.
• Assist in preparing technical reports, specifications, and drawings.
• Contribute to development of team capability and design processes.
