Job summary

Constructive, a respected engineering consultancy focused on water, civil and structural infrastructure, is seeking a capable structural engineer.

You will deliver structural design across water and wastewater assets, manage projects from concept through to delivery, review junior engineers, and liaise with clients, authorities and delivery partners throughout the project lifecycle.

The role offers mentoring, a collaborative team culture and flexible working arrangements.

Qualifications

• 4-5+ years experience in structural design, ideally across water or wastewater assets, or solid fundamentals and a desire to learn.
• Comfortable owning projects end to end, from concept through to delivery with support of leadership team.
• Strong grasp of Australian Standards and structural design principles.
• Equally strong on the technical detail and the people side of the job.
• Degree-qualified in Civil or Structural Engineering.

Responsibilities

• Delivering structural design across water and wastewater infrastructure.
• Managing projects from concept and analysis through to documentation and delivery.
• Reviewing and guiding the work of junior engineers.
• Liaising with clients, authorities and delivery partners across the project lifecycle.
• Contributing technical input on complex, sometimes difficult assets.
