Morson Edge is seeking a Design Coordinator to own the coordination of design deliverables from tender through to practical completion. You will partner with the Design Manager and Project Manager, embedding within the project team to ensure timely, accurate documentation and robust design controls.

You will coordinate consultants, support design development, and manage documentation across complex retail, education, and industrial projects while leveraging Procore, Aconex, and BIM tools.

Qualifications

• A degree in Architecture, Civil/Structural Engineering, Construction Management or related discipline.
• 5+ years' Australian construction industry experience.
• 2+ years' experience in a design coordination role.
• Experience across retail, industrial, manufacturing or education projects.
• Working knowledge of DA, SSDA, CDC and NCC requirements.
• Experience with Procore and/or Aconex.
• Proficiency with Bluebeam and Revizto.
• Familiarity with AutoCAD and/or Revit.

The Opportunity

As Design Coordinator, you'll be at the heart of the design management function, coordinating consultants, managing design deliverables and ensuring documentation remains accurate, current and aligned with the construction program.
You'll be embedded within the project team, working closely with Project Managers, Project Administrators and Site Engineers, with ongoing support and mentoring from the Design Manager.
