Job summary

Duratec, an ASX-listed engineering and construction group, seeks a Project Coordinator to support building and façade project delivery across Australia. You will manage project deliverables and operations, coordinating technical disciplines and guiding projects from planning through execution.

The ideal candidate holds an engineering or technical qualification, with experience in construction or façades, and strong planning, budgeting, and stakeholder management skills.

Qualifications

  • Project delivery experience in construction, engineering, façades, or related industry.
  • Tertiary qualification in Engineering or related technical discipline.
  • Architectural, engineering, or technical design experience is advantageous.
  • Strong commercial and coordination skills, with ability to manage budgets.

Responsibilities

  • Plan and coordinate works, equipment and personnel.
  • Provide technical advice on design, construction, or repairs.
  • Compile and create QA/QC documentation.
  • Schedule and coordinate works per program requirements.
  • Plan and procure ahead of schedule.
  • Take-offs and estimating quantities.
  • Ensure compliance with HSECQ requirements.
  • Facilitate regular project management meetings.

We are seeking a Project Coordinator to support the delivery of building and façade projects across a diverse portfolio. You will be primarily responsible for project deliverables and operations, overseeing technical disciplines and coordination of our projects. This role is well suited to candidates with an architectural, engineering, or related technical background who are looking to further develop their project delivery and leadership capabilities.

THE ROLE
  • Plan and coordinate works, equipment and personnel
  • Provide technical advice to personnel regarding design, construction, program modification or repairs
  • Compile and create QA/QC documentation
  • Schedule and coordinate works in accordance with program requirements
  • Planning and procurement ahead of schedule
  • Quantity take-offs and estimating
  • Ensure compliance with HSECQ requirements
  • Facilitate regular project management meetings
About You
  • Project delivery experience within construction, engineering, façades, or a related industry
  • Tertiary qualification in Engineering or a related technical discipline
  • Architectural, engineering, or technical design experience will be highly regarded
  • Strong commercial, stakeholder management, and coordination skills
  • Ability to plan and manage subcontractors, budgets, and project schedules
  • Self-motivated with strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Inspection/asset management experience advantageous
